Life of a Work-At-Home Mom

Becoming a mom is a very wonderful feeling yet it is challenging especially for the first time and young like me. You already have a responsibility for your child and to your family as well. In the willingness to help my husband, I decided to have work at home. Ended up knowing that there is a chance for a mom like me to work at home and earn a lot, so I didn’t miss that opportunity and grab that chance so I enrolled as a freelancer to learn the tasks of a virtual assistant to help business owners.

I always look at jobs online and keep applying to different job posts, and hoping that business owners will consider me as part of their team. I am always hopeful to work-at-home so that I can provide a comfortable life for my family.

Now, I will share to you the life of a work-at-home mom!

BEING A MOM EVERYDAY

First thing in the morning, I woke up because my son is already up and breastfeed him, change his nappies and prepare his food. Does the laundry and check my email, do my online job and hoping if there is a new job invitation or someone responded on my application.

It is very challenging especially when you are only the one who does everything when my husband is at work.

Sometimes I feel very drained and feels like I am giving up because I can’t find out what your baby wants, you give him everything but still crying and still not know the reason. Always wants to carry and don’t want to sleep. And ended up you can’t finish your work.

But still, I can and I will do everything for my child even if it is very tiring because being a mom to your child is a very special and no one can question you of what are you being a mother. I know that every mom has their own ways on how they will take care of their child, so no one can judge any mom.

Being a mom every day is thinking of what would be a better future for your child. So, as a mom, I want to give my family a comfortable life, I want to give my son what everything he needs. And I want to help my husband as a provider of the family. Then I came up to have a job online so that I can work at home while continuing taking care of my family.

HOW A WORK-AT-HOME MOM CAN HANDLE EVERYTHING?

This is the very challenging part of being a mom, how I can handle everything? How a work-at-home mom can manage all of the tasks that need to be done.

Here are some tips that I research that would help a work-at-home mom:

SET UP YOUR SCHEDULE

First is you need to have your schedule. You have to plan everything that you need to do in a day. Having your daily schedule is that you can manage your time with your work and your family.

KNOW YOUR PRIORITIES

Discover your priorities so that you would know what you have to do and need to do first. In order to have your daily schedule.

WAKE UP EARLY

Waking up early before your child wakes up to accomplish something before you actually started your day. It can help you do some tasks before your child wakes up.

SEEK EXTRA HELP WHEN YOU NEED IT

It is okay if you ask for help with someone, especially if you need it badly. Ask for assistance to watch over with your child and do your work.

CAPITALIZE ON NAPTIME

Use the time when your child gets to sleep for an hour or two. Get advantage of it. Finish your assignments that needs your complete focus and concentration.

SKILLS OF A WORK-AT-HOME MOM CAN OFFER

As a work-at-home mom, It is challenging to do different tasks simultaneously. But I can manage all of it with motivation and passion for doing all of my work and love for my family.
